Edwin Yau

Edwin Yau, LCSW, EdD, is a licensed clinical social worker (California #93635) who conducts psychological evaluations in immigration matters, including asylum, VAWA, U-Visa, and extreme hardship cases. He has over ten years of clinical experience working with trauma-exposed individuals and provides objective, trauma-informed assessments grounded in established clinical standards.

Dr. Yau completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at UCLA and holds a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from USC. He is a certified EMDR trained clinician, a national trainer in mental health and trauma topics, and serves as teaching faculty at USC School of Social Work.
